Took off the hand strap (think that’s what you are supposed to do…. No instructions…) Used it the first time with my 3 Golden Retriever’s. Yes my hands are very busy with all 3 dogs on the leashes. So when the photo opportunity arrived I had immediate access to the camera.
I was able to put the pad with the connector ring easily between my iPhone 12 Pro Max and the plastic MagSafe case I am using. The ring is nice -- it pushes in only so it should not release accidentally.
However, it is hard to connect the strap to the ring. I will wait until I need the strop to try to connect it -- it might be similarly hard to remove after a trip.
The strap was a lot thicker and better than I thought it would be. The clips tho were hard to attach to the holder and looked like they didn’t belong to the strap.
