The Accessory My iPhoneography Hobby Needed!!

Having received my SnapGrip and been using it almost daily for nearly a month now - I’m blown away by how easy it is to use. The ability to hold my iPhone the way I would hold a camera (one-handed) and being able to take photos/videos safely…being able to get images that before would have been difficult at best has changed my iPhoneography hobby in huge positive ways - the SnapGrip kit was much more than I expected - having a removeable light, the Tripod/Selfie Stick thing was an extra added bonus and the case for the SnapGrip itself are of premium quality. I have had many friends, neighbors and other iPhoneography hobbyists ask me about the SnapGrip - they all love it!!! I cannot say enough good about my SnapGrip accessories - can’t wait to see what other amazing ideas ShiftCam has in store for us!! *the photos I’ve included are from my latest drive up on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina

SnapGrip - wow or NO?

Good afternoon everyone!!! I use only a few days - and there is a certain opinion! I have an earlier version with clamps and a heavier one. The new version is simpler and lighter. But there are disadvantages. I will report on the pros and cons in my video review. And in general, I consider the second version very good and convenient for video blogging and any photo and video works. The developers have created a very good thing! Thank you all!

Very easy to use, the SnapGrip Creator Kit "snaps" in a second.
Just need to agree using a naked phone with it, then it's fine.

A Mixed Bag

If I was reviewing just the Snap Grip I would have easily given it five stars. The magnetic grip is so easy to use. It has a firm hold, even with a case on the phone. It fits perfectly in the hand and has never failed to fire, unlike another grip I’ve tried. I haven’t used the phone enough that I’ve had to use the charger but I have tested it to see if it works and everything seems ok. Because I’m reviewing the Snap Kit I need to take the rating down a notch. The mini tripod and the light attach just as easily and firmly as the grip does to the phone but the light is not very bright. I wasn’t expecting a lot given its size and unfortunately it didn’t exceed expectations. The tripod was a bigger disappointment though. Again, I wasn’t expecting a lot but thought it would work on a table top in a pinch. The locking ring around the ball head doesn’t tighten enough to stabilize the camera. It flops around like the head of a new born baby. I put some white plumbers’ tape around the threads which improved it a bit but I still can’t recommend it. So the grip gets a rave, the light and the tripod, not so much.

My main complaint is that the snap grip is to small doesn’t fit like pro grip
