I recently got my hands on the Shiftcam LensUltra 16mm Wide Angle Lens, and I have to say, it has completely transformed my mobile photography experience. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to attach to my smartphone; the design is user-friendly and straightforward.
I started using it, I was blown away by the clarity and sharpness of the images. The wide-angle perspective allows me to capture stunning landscapes and group photos without any hassle. I especially love how it minimizes distortion, which is often a concern with wide-angle lenses.
The build quality feels durable, yet it's lightweight enough to carry around without any issues. I’ve been able to unleash my creativity in ways I never thought possible with just my phone. Overall, I highly recommend the Shiftcam LensUltra 16mm Wide Angle Lens to anyone looking to take their mobile photography to the next level!
Fun lens accessory for your phone but a bit of a fast to use as you need to change the adapter depending on which camera you're using on the back of your phone. I think this would be more suited to somebody with a background in professional photography I found that it was often arguing with the phones internal AI and it would take a moment to focus.
Regardless of problems it was a fun accessory to play with and I'm confident that the right person could get fantastic results with it but I did not.
Very well packaged and it does explain everything on the box fairly well it's just difficult in a world where our phones have multiple cameras on the rear.
I was excited to have the opportunity to try out the ShiftCam wide angle lens. The lens came with a carry case, a cleaning cloth, and a cleaning brush. It is very easy to use, and the quality of the pictures are excellent. I am not a photographer, and I was pleasantly surprised at the unique differences of the photos between the regular phone lens and the wide angle lens. I am eager to continue experimenting and improving my photography skills, and learning about all I can do using wide angle lenses.
I've enjoyed the 75 macro
Having tried and liked the shiftcam Ultawide lens, I decided to try out the 60mm Telephoto lens. Was a bit disappointed with the clarity and focus of the telephoto lens.
Using the telephoto lens indoors gave be a good results with good zoom and clarity. Also photos taken with low light had surprising results.
It does have the 2X optical zoom which I was looking for. While the images look good while focusing in the view finder the images after the shot was taken does not paint the clear picture.
When the lens is exposed to direct sunlight, the image seems to retain lens flare and the details are not so clear. Tried taking the same picture without the lens they seem to be fine.
Another scenario when taking portrait shots focus kept on switching away from the subject and the image clarity was not so great.
I wish the mounting mechanism using the universal mount could have been magnetic instead of screw type. Over multiple uses, I can hear screeching noise using the universal mount.
