Hello, I received my Travelpod Selfie in good order and it works well for the most part. I would like to share some feedback.
1. I ordered the original Snapgrip Creators Kit when it was first offered via Kickstarter. I found the snapgrip very useful; however, I had limited use for the SnapPod. Yes, it had the tripod legs but I could not understand why the remote selfie stick feature was not incorporated into the design. To me, that would have made more sense. As it was, I had to order the Travelpod Selfie separately and I now have an extra tripod that I may never use at all.
2. The Travelpod Selfie works as designed. The portable Bluetooth shutter button makes things convenient. I have found, though that when the stick is fully extended with my cell phone attached, the part that holds the phone tends to wobble and feels unsteady almost feeling like it can't hold the weight of the phone. I've had to compensate for this by not extending the stick to full length.
So, that's my review. The product does what it is supposed to do but it has weaknesses.
I really like my TravelPod Selfie. I’ve tried 3-5 Selfie sticks, but this is now my Favourite. I can use it, in Many different ways, & situations. Very cool gadget. Thanks!
It’s virtually identical in design to an older Spigen model although this one is more compact and the legs don’t extend (my only gripe). It’s better and more stable, taller and more robust than the SnapGrip tripod (which I also own). The Bluetooth shutter remote is a great touch as well.
would like to use with Snap Grip.
need an add-on foe Snap Grip or Selfie stick for snap grip
trying to charge the remote and the light turns red then goes blank then when i replug it in it goes red again....is this defective or charged? Would really prefer to see a charger included
